DESCRIPTION

 

     A proposed safe haven, a sanctuary and rescue for abused, unwanted, homeless pets and farm animals in the Philippines. Ben Animal Sanctuary And Rescue was conceived in 2014 in the midst of alarming animal abuses around the country due to our values, culture, belief and typhoon prone geographical location.

    Construction has begun in January 2015. Unfortunately, after the Concrete Deep Well of the Water System was completed, I undergone an expected prostatic surgery last March 30, 2015 which obliged me to temporarily stop the construction and drained my budget for the sanctuary to my hospital bills.

    Early this month my doctor confirmed my nearly full recovery medical status, thus made me decide to resume the construction of the sanctuary along with the El Niño Phenomenon now drying up the country.

    After cutting trees and sizing them to desired lumber for animal shelters, securing much needed funds has been done through cross posting and fundraising to pursue the construction and secure more animals from global warming...

    In as much as we know that life is too hard almost everywhere around the world with due preparations for the fast approaching Christmas holidays and winter season, we still believe that there are still friends around who really understand how animals are treated and have something to share and help for the animals in the Philippines...Please like this Page,share it to your friends, help and support these voiceless pets and farm animals urgently needing help from abused and abandonment....

RATIONALE

 

       My name is Rosiben S. Violeta.  I am an Animal Rights and an Animal rehabilitation Advocate.  You may not know this, but there are not many animal advocates in the Philippines.  Unfortunately, people have the opposite mindset, as our Government does not have many strict laws prohibiting animal abuse.  Therefore,there are not many shelters or rescues here, as often times,

animals are discarded and consumed.

 

       I have decided to open Ben Animal Sanctuary and Rescue.  This Sanctuary will be one of the only few in the Philippines.  Starting up a rescue/rehab is very expensive and the money needed is very important. This Sanctuary will not only rescue animals, but it will also set a positive precedent for a different mindset, a kinder mindset and more compassionate mindset towards animals.
